Hey Guys. Don't know much about soccer and don't claim to. Just based on standings and stories I've read, two bets look tempting. Before I pull the trigger, I need some advise here. 1) Stoke City/Wigan Under 2.5 (-155) In 11 away matches, Stoke has only 4 goals, and have given up 13. In 10 home matches, Wigan has scored 10 goals, and given up 14. *These teams did have a 2-2 result early this year at Stoke, but Stoke have much higher scoring games at home, same as Wigan on road* The numbers point to an under, a lot of posters... Have taken a break from betting with real money for the most part the past few months. Was pleasantly surprised to find out I had not collected my 25% from RebateWager from my last deposit back in October. Well let's see what we can do with $110. Will track my rebate plays here, keeping in mind I may not advance past tonight. Pick 1: Georgia Tech -1.5 (risk $55 to win $50) Both G-Tech and Clemson have been rather impressive this year, both sitting in the top 20. Both have had a few surprise wins, with the body of... More...

I'm sure this topic has come up on numerous occasions, but figured I'd throw it out there. I'm looking for a numbers guy to help me out here. In the SBR Store, I can purchase: BetPhoenix $100 Freeplay for 375pts BetPhoenix $250 Freeplay for 900pts BetPhoenix $100 Cash for 825pts BetPhoenix $250 Cash for 1875pts Just trying to figure out what option is best value. With two -110 wins in the SBR sportsbook, I can get myself into the 900point range. I don't have the statistical brain to break this one out today. Also, does anyone know the rollover rules... In many cases the forum will sway you away from your gut instinct, and when you were initially right and change your wager, you will be kicking yourself and be devastated. Every professional and college sport in America is lined by the professionals, and very rarely does any type of information get past these guys, meaning in all honesty you have about a 50/50 chance of being on the right side. With this said pick your own games and lock them in, and then browse the forums and offer your input. Nothing worse then losing when tailing fellow posters.... More...

....and get the fu(k out of this game while I can. It's disgusting the sick beats I've been taking as of late, just sick. I know some of you have had bad ones, but trust me, mine have been horrendous. I have small favourites in college hoops who build big 20-25 point leads, and before you know it, they evaporate. I'm up about $600 the past month (even with these sick beats, should be up like $1,500) I'm calling 5dimes first thing in the morning, and withdrawing everything I have, and enjoy it with my... Big wins yesterday from Cornell and Butler. San Antonio Spurs kept me from having a perfect 3-0 day. Let's keep the ball rolling today. Dayton Flyers (PICK, +100) Love this spot for the Flyers. They return most key pieces from last years NCAA appearance. Most notably, they return Junior big man Chris Wright and Senior guard Marcus Johnson. Battle tested team known for their smothering defense, already had an impressive early season 10 point win over Creighton. I think Georgia Tech is going to be much, much improved in the ACC this year (preseason... More...

Only 1 NBA pick on the card today: 1) San Antonio Spurs (ML, +108) This line has actually went from Dallas being a 1.5 point favorite to a PK since I stamped my ticket about 15 minutes ago. The Spurs have been pretty inconsistent this year, and have still yet to win on the road. They finally appear to be healthy, which will certainly help and make for a higher quality of player logging minutes off the bench. What really stands out to me is the fact that the Spurs beat the Mavericks a week ago by 9 without the... More...

Two picks on the card today, and I have already seen other posters list these as there plays of the day: 1) Cornell Big Red (-2.5, -107) Absolutely love this play. Cornell is about as experienced, savvy and poised a bunch in divison I basketball today. They have gone to the big dance the past 2 years, jumpfrogging Penn and Princeton as the class of the Ivy League. What makes me feel even better is the fact that they return all 5 starters from last year. There top three players all being seniors (Dale, Foote,... More...

Tonight's card consists of 2 NBA games, and 1 NCAAB game. I'm feeling more confident about my card today then I have in a long time (not sure if thats a good sign or bad, haha) 1) Atlanta (-3, -106) Atlanta has been on a tear at home this year, dominating many games. Portland has been fantastic away from Rose, going 5-1 this far. They are getting tonnes of respect, but lets see who they've played on the road. There only loss came to Houston, and there wins came against Oklahoma City, Memphis, Minnesota, New Orleans and Charlotte. Hmmmmm,... More...

Taking a look at the lines, I'm going to keep a close eye on four games: - Philly (+1) I don't quite get this line. Philly has played fairly well this year, and blew a late lead to Phoenix. Utah has really underperformed, and has lost four games by 10 points already (vs Denver, vs Houston, @ Dallas, @ Boston) Deron Williams is having back problems and Okur, Brewer and Millsap production hasn't been where it was last year. - Minnesota (+11) Not as much logic to this one, more of a hunch...
